Alessandro Del Piero

	Famous Italian football player Alessandro Del Piero was born Nov. 9, 1974, in Conegliano. He left home at the age of 16 to start his pro career with Pavoda of the Italian Serie B, and in 1993 he was traded to Juventus and has been there ever since. During his career, his team has won 7 Italian championships, 4 Italian Super cups and one European Super Cup. Alessandro is the Captain and All-time top scorer for Juventus FC and was a 2006 FIFA World Cup winner. He is into music and has released some of his own songs on a CD. His nickname is 'Pinturicchio,' and he is married to Sonia Amoruso, the sister of football player Nicola Amoruso.
